What EduDesk does

Everything a school runs on, without the stack of files.

Built around how Nigerian schools actually work: CA and exam scores, positions in class, termly reports and parents who want updates on their phones.

Online CBT exams

Set tests and exams, and students write them on a computer or phone. Scripts are marked for you.

  • Answers are kept safe if the internet drops
  • Evidence of possible cheating for teachers
  • Question analysis shows what students missed

Term report cards

Nigerian-style report cards produced straight from your scores, with no retyping.

  • CA, exam, total, grade, average and position
  • Attendance, skills and behaviour ratings
  • Teacher and principal comments
  • All three terms side by side, with session average, position and a class broadsheet

QR verification

Every report card carries a QR code. Anyone can scan it to confirm the card is genuine and unchanged.

Daily attendance

Teachers mark the class register in seconds, and attendance flows into each report card automatically.

  • The register and score sheets keep working when the internet drops, and send once it is back

Parent SMS & WhatsApp

Parents hear from the school when it matters.

  • When their child is absent
  • Fee invoices and reminders
  • When report cards are ready

Fees & online payment

Send fee invoices and let parents pay online by card, bank transfer or USSD through Paystack. See who has paid at a glance.

Import students from Excel

Bring in your whole school from an Excel or CSV sheet, using our ready-made template.

  • Check every row before anything is saved
  • Problem rows are named and skipped
  • Safe to import the same sheet again

Results on your chosen day

Release results now, schedule a day and time, or hold them back. Staff can always see them.

  • Optional: show results only to families with no fees owing

Instalments & debtors list

Split a term's fees into 2 to 6 monthly instalments to make paying easier for families.

  • "Who owes fees" list with the parent to call
  • Download the list for Excel

Running the school office

From the first application to the end of the session.

The jobs that fill the admin office every term, handled in the same system as your exams and results.

Online admissions

Families apply on your school's online form without creating an account, and get a reference number to track their application.

  • Offer a place, decline or admit
  • Admitting creates the student, and the parent's login if you choose

Class timetables

Set your school day once, then build each class's weekly timetable.

  • A teacher can't be booked into two classes at the same time

Staff payroll

Set each staff member's pay and run payroll monthly: adjust, approve and mark it as paid.

  • Staff download their own payslips
  • Salaries are still paid through your bank as usual

Year-end promotion

Move each class into the new session in one step.

  • Choose who moves up, repeats, leaves or graduates

Homework & lesson notes

Teachers post homework or notes to a class for the subjects they teach. Students and parents see them at the top of their home page.

  • Teachers can also text the class's parents

Monday summary for the proprietor

Every Monday morning, school admins get one SMS covering the week: attendance, fees received, what is still owed and by how many students, and applications waiting.

  • Preview it, send it now, or turn it off

How a term runs on EduDesk

From resumption to results day.

  1. Set up your classes

Admit new students online or import them from Excel, then set classes, subjects and the timetable.

  2. Mark attendance daily

Registers take seconds. Parents are told when a child is absent.

  3. Record CA tests

Run CA tests on CBT or enter scores. Fee reminders go out on schedule.

  4. Write exams on CBT

Students sit exams online. Marking is done for you, with cheating checks.

  5. Release report cards

Positions and averages are worked out. On the day you choose, parents get an SMS and view the card.

Your data, your school

Built so each school's records stay private.

Questions schools ask

Before you book a demo

What happens if the internet goes off during an exam?

Each answer is saved as the student goes. If the connection drops, the student continues when it comes back and nothing already answered is lost.

Our internet is unreliable. Can teachers still work?

Yes, for the daily jobs that matter most. The attendance register and score sheets keep working when the connection drops, on a device that has opened that class before. Entries are held on the device and sent automatically once the internet returns.

Do we need to buy computers for CBT?

No special hardware is needed. Students can write exams on the computers you already have, or on phones and tablets with a web browser.

Can parents see results on their phones?

Yes. Parents have their own login to see report cards, attendance and fees, and they get an SMS or WhatsApp message when something needs their attention.

Is our school's information safe?

Each school's records are kept apart from every other school's, and each user only sees what their role allows. Your data belongs to your school.

How much does EduDesk cost?

Pricing depends on the size of your school. Book a demo and we will walk you through it and give you a quote.

How long does it take to get started?

We set up your school's address and account, then help you add your classes, teachers and students. Book a demo to plan a start date that suits your term.
